Slack Blogger

Yes, I have been slacking in the blogging arena lately.  I have been super busy applying and interviewing for jobs!  I have definitely come to realize that the job market is not what it used to be!  I am hopeful and trust in the Lord to give me a job that is right for me and where I fit in with what is needed for the company.  He already has it all planned so I just keep telling myself that and try not to worry.  I've either been rejected by or turned down jobs thus far.  Today, I had an awesome interview with some amazing people so I am praying that maybe that is where I am called to work.  If not, that's ok too b/c everything happens for a reason.  I'll let everyone know when the verdict is in, whenever that will be--in God's time!

We are all settled in here.  I even have a FL driver's license and tag.  Now to land a job, find a church, make some friends, and enjoy it.  Pete has been working so much that we hardly see each other, but maybe this weekend will be a time to spend quality time together.

I want to take the focus off of my self and add a note to say please pray for my family.  There are a few of my relatives that are going through tough times that need to be lifted up in prayer.  I don't want to give details-God knows.  I want to pray that they feel his hand in theirs as he walks with them during these hard times.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!  We may partake in some early St. Patty's Day festivities.  Oh and don't forget to set your clocks forward before you go to sleep on Saturday night. :)

  1. Traci,

Hope the job hunting goes well, It can get stressful but the main thing is to find something you like and something for you and it will all fall into place. I hope your family are ok and will think of them in my prayers. Oh glad your going to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, why do ye guys call it Patty's?? It's either Patrick's or Paddy's Day here. I was just wondering as I have seen other american call it Patty's too. You should get some nice photographs of your new area.

    All things nice...

  2. I think we say St. Patty's cuz it just makes sense that Patty is short for Patrick?? I really don't know. :)
