Our God is an Awesome God!

I just want to say that I am truly blessed!  God has taught me so much these past few months.  From the possibility of having a life-changing illness to my husband having health issues to moving away from all of my friends and family to quitting a great job and the trials of trying to find a new one to allowing me to grow closer to friends and family and so much more!  I just want to share how great our Lord is!!

I have just accepted a nursing position and am so excited to have this opportunity!  It's at an OB/GYN practice and allows me to use my skills in a manager-type role.  I surely didn't expect such a great opportunity but am confident that the Lord will help me be a great asset to this office and for them to be a way for me to learn and grow, as well!

God has taught me that good things truly come when you are patient (not that I exhibited patience but am learning that patience is necessary and good b/c it truly pays off) and sometimes involve hard times to get to the good and to appreciate the good.  I am thankful for the hard times I have faced these past few months because I know that when hard times come again, good times will be around the corner when faith and prayer is present.

I feel like Jesus is giving me all of these experiences as testimonies to show that without him, what is there??  I could not have gone through all that I have and gotten to where I have if it weren't for him.
